I recommend to your attention this post, in which Buffy Summers and friends take a spork to Twilight. If the piece has a fault, it's that the author Likes Cordelia Best, and overloads her with witty badinage at the expense of the rest of the group. On the other hand, who better than Cordelia to take on Bella Swann's narrative stylings? I was amused.

I'd forgotten the toy mousie! I shouldn't have -- that was one of the first scenes I was able to read a kanji in, back when I first started with the Japanese ...
