I recommend to your attention this post, in which Buffy Summers and friends take a spork to Twilight. If the piece has a fault, it's that the author Likes Cordelia Best, and overloads her with witty badinage at the expense of the rest of the group. On the other hand, who better than Cordelia to take on Bella Swann's narrative stylings? I was amused.

You were the first person I thought of when I tripped over this one, for some reason ...

Sometimes they come looking for me -- I found this trying to track down the source of the "OH JOHN RINGO NO!" meme, of all things.

What's even funnier is my goddaughter's little sister, all of seven, deciding that Ed could ICly rant about being as small as a mouse and saying to me, "Maybe Evil Little Dog could write that." I hadn't thought she remembered me explaining how you were the other person writing the birthday-party scene (she loves Ed throwing the milk), but evidently she did.

If you ever do write that rant, and it's TV7, I'll show it to her. (She said "Evil Little Dog" exactly like my brothers and I used to talk about "Stately Wayne Manor" -- just another proper name, nothing out of the ordinary about this at all. :-)

There is a possibility...if I ever get around to doing that "Charge" prompt. Roy tells me that he's fascinated by static electricity...though how to work in a mouse. Hmmm.

Yeah, I can't exactly see Roy rubbing mice and sticking them to the ceiling. (Although Hughes might suggest it ...)

Bwahahaha, Hughes might, indeed. Or have Elicia's little toy mousey in his pocket.

I'd forgotten the toy mousie! I shouldn't have -- that was one of the first scenes I was able to read a kanji in, back when I first started with the Japanese ...
