Nominations for the UFO Awards at dotmoon.net will close on February 1. I mention this because I'm up against half my f-list in the Fullmetal Alchemist category, but I also believe that you can never have too many worthy contestants enter the ring, because then the victory really means something. So if anyone wants to nominate "Full Constant Light" or "Crossing at a Ford" in the Avatar: The Last Airbender category, please feel free. Some of the fandoms represented need more love (I can understand that the Rurouni Kenshin fandom is a little senescent these days, but only one nominee? Ditto Dr. Horrible, which is too young to have senesced yet?) Get the goodfic out there and let it compete!

There's 'fic for everything, even (http://www.fanfiction.net/misc/Dr_Horribles_Sing-Along_Blog/10/0/1/1/0/0/0/0/0/1/) Dr. Horrible (http://community.livejournal.com/horrible_fic/).

Huh. Apparently I've been too busy being extremely unsatisfied with the Firefly fic I've been digging up to look for Dr. Horrible properly...

I haven't even seen Dr. Horrible yet. [hangs head in shame] Sometimes things just get away from you ...

Oh, it's lovely. Joss Whedon should stick to writing musicals.

And casting Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion.

Eh. Nathan Fillion does nothing for me in real life or in any characterization I've seen yet.

NPH, though. Sure. With Allison Hannigan. *nod nod nod*

The only Buffy episode I have is the musical one. Good stuff, especially the throwaway mustard stain bit. :-)

Yeah Dr. Horrible gets a thumbs up from me as well.

Erm, I went with Full Constant Light.

Everything else you guys recommend turns out to be cool, so I guess I'll have to check out Dr. Horrible.

[filled with competitive fervor]Whee! Thank you![/filled with competitive fervor]
