Personal Note: Requesting the honor of their presence

kanja177, who volunteers at a local elementary school, told me that when she showed up to tutor her second-graders on Tuesday, they were all dolled up in suits and party dresses. When she asked what the occasion was, she was informed that they were going to watch the inauguration on television ... and then hold their very own inaugural ball.

To which I can only say, "Awwww!"
