Fandom: Good news at last!

Lois McMaster Bujold, who made my buy-in-hardback list years ago, reports the following as part of her schedule for Denvention (aka this year's WorldCon):

Yay! The Vorkosiverse has been on hiatus for a while now in favor of other projects, but I'm still waiting to see if ... any one of the several ideas I've had for future plot developments are shared by the author. Heh, heh, heh.

In equally uplifting, if somewhat more belated news, Diane Duane has survived her annus horribilis and returned to the 'Net with the long-awaited (by me, anyway), seventh chapter of The Big Meow for subscribers of same. Highly recommended -- here's the author's plug:
