I'm a fan of the webcomic Girl Genius (to the point where I invest in the dead tree editions without a second thought about the cost), so it was with great delight that I discovered the Twitter account of
Othar Tryggvassen, Gentleman Adventurer!
a few hours before [livejournal.com profile] kajafoglio made mention of it in her LJ. Anyone who likes a good drabble should enjoy Othar's deadpan, telegraphic recital of his adventures. A sampling of recent entries:
Have an appointment with Baron. Observed flying stoat and rider in sky. Townspeople terrified. Street cleared (except for me). We waved.

Stoat rider's name is Zorbit Huffnagle. Stoat farm is in giant tower in middle of town. Deadly devices throughout. Same old same old.

Have entered Huffnagle's tower and encountered first line of defense. Ten feet of stoat dung. Was going to kill him anyway; now I'll enjoy it.

Second line of defense was horde of undead stoats. Tedious, yet unnerving. It did not help that they sang. How did my life get like this?
Share and enjoy! (And afterward have a listen on iTunes to the Girl Genius free podcast "The Sleepy Clank" -- I'm chortling yet ... :-)

I don't understand people who use Twitter. I'm already chained enough to the Internet. Why would I want to marry it?

No clue there. But Othar's twitterings are plenty amusing, IMO.
