I harvested my first tomato today. It was delicious. Can't wait for the next one ... [watches tomato plant]

You're the second friend who's harvested the first tomato off the vine this week - AIGH. Mine's still growing, and hasn't even started changing color yet!

However, my tomatoes are growing tall and bushy and are so wonderful about producing flowers, I won't complain.

Much.

My single patio tomato in a pot will never compare to your tall, bushy fellows. :-) Do you have trouble with stinkbugs vampiring on the unripe fruit?

You can get some Seven Dust (it's poisonous to bugs but washes off for human consumption) and that'll take care of any parasitic bugs nomming on your maters. :D

And yes, the stinkbugs do go after the fruit, and so do tomato worms.
