Personal Note: Another Geek Milestone

Today, for the first time, I read a graphic novel in English on public transportation.

And now I'm leaving town in case anyone saw me to go to a family reunion, so I won't have Internet access to continue discussing FMA 108 until Sunday. Boo, hiss.

Thanks! I'm rereading FMA from the front end -- and being surprised all over again at how early Hughes's death occurs therein, as opposed to the first anime adaptation (which beefed up the whole Lab 5 thing for its own dramatic purposes. Not that I mind, in that context ...)

Oh, fun! I'm often surprised by how early that occurs in both anime, so I'm sure it would surprise me in the manga too. You'll have to let inquiring minds know if you discover any crazy early foreshadowing or little details that nobody remembers anymore. ;)
