Ha! Love these. They're droll, yet demonstrate Winry's faculty and self-confidence beautifully. It's always nice to see fic that places Ed and Al on the outside, looking in -- takes them down a peg. ;) Poor Edward may be a genius, but he has yet to figure out how to manage himself around this girl...

Thanks! This is one of the things fanfiction is good for: taking secondary characters and making them the protagonists of their own stories. Winry's got so much going for her as a potential protagonist, anyway; she's got a whole life outside of her relationship with Ed and Al that's worth exploring. Wrong-footing Ed is just a bonus. :-)
