I like writing poetry, but I haven't tried anything in this mode for quite a while -- it's difficult to avoid sounding jingly or stilted. I think this came out reasonably natural (only a couple of grammatical inversions) and said what I wanted it to say, which is all I can ask for. Glad you enjoyed this 'fic!
