Made the following note in a record for Philipp Knipschildt's Tractatus Politico-Historico-Juridicus de Juribus et Privilegis Nobilitatis et Ordinis Equestris S.R.I. Liberi et Immediati (1693):
Dedicated to Joseph, King of the Romans,
by Johann Rudolf Baron of Ow
Life anticipates Monty Python's Flying Circus. I tried to discover where Ow might be located, but it seems to be a defunct piece of geography (a dead hamlet?), surviving only in hyphenated form in the family name (wait for it) Ow-Wachendorf ...

... and I have to stop now, or else I will giggle uncontrollably and fail to get work done.
