Friend ishte is bicycling to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in early July. If you're interested in helping out a good cause, you can donate here. Remember, as Karl Menninger told Newsweek, "Money-giving is a very good criterion of a person’s mental health. Generous people are rarely mentally ill people." In case any of you are, you know, concerned about that ... :-)

I really appreciate you sharing my link. Whoo... I'm scared to death to do this, but really excited too. Riding a bike 150 miles... wow... I wonder if that's any sort of criterion for guageing mental health. I must be nuts! But it will be in good company for a good cause. So thanks for spreading the word for me. Thanks very much.

You're welcome -- best of luck on the ride! I had a friend do a half-marathon for charity a few years back; she was really nervous when she started training, but by the time she pulled on her sneakers at the starting line, she was all ready.
