Sniggled from [livejournal.com profile] nateprentice. I present to you the best analysis I have yet seen regarding the origins of the current U.S. economic crisis, as a hypothetical involving a German shepherd, a Weimaraner, Alan Greenspan, a bag of kibble and some squeaky toys. (Oh, and there may be a cat at the bottom of it, somewhere.)

Please share and enjoy. Now somebody with an equal amount of economic savvy needs to grab the bit out of Barack Obama's stump speech where he explains why this kerfuffle is affecting people who aren't investment bankers and work it up as a hypothetical involving -- I don't know -- guinea pigs, carrots and Warren Buffett, and then maybe the letters page of my local newspaper would have room to print complaints about traffic signals again ...
