The Library of Congress defines the scope of the term "religious aspects" in subject headings as follows:
Use as a topical subdivision under individual animals and groups of animals, individual plants and groups of plants, individual chemicals and materials, individual languages and groups of languages, individual diseases, individual organs and regions of the body, individual musical instruments and families of instruments, and individual wars. So, yes: "Fly fishing -- Religious aspects" and "Ladybugs -- Religious aspects" (and, for all I know, "Hydrogen -- Religious aspects" and "Theremin -- Religious aspects". Nothing precludes 'em!).
