Sniggled from Making Light, Joss Whedon speaks out for peace between ancient enemies:

It's an age-old war. Like the werewolves and the vampires. I think Underworld was actually originally about crocheters and knitters but they thought it would be too controversial so they changed it to vampires and werewolves.

Thanks! I see it ... it will take me a day or so to read it and pull my thoughts together, though. I've been ill [hack hack snuffle] and this week is filled with stuff to do. It will be nice to have a cozy 'fic to wrap myself in as I sip tea during a brief moment of leisure. :-)

No worries! I mostly just wanted you to see it and not sit there wondering where it was. The weather here is crap, which is the perfect kind of day to stay home and be sick, but not if you have running around to do. Feel better and good luck!
