Personal Note: Portage way

The latest "update" of LiveJournal convinced me that it was time to do a general port of my journal from there to Dreamwidth. I'll keep my presence on LJ until my entire flist is gone, but I figure it's good to have a backup, just in case. Now, if I can just get out of this writing funk I'm stuck in and develop some new content ...

I started porting some of my 'fic over there manually a while ago, but I deleted it yesterday and am waiting to advance high enough in the queue for it all to come over in one big lump.

The "How to import a journal" explanation is here (http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=86). Once you're set up, they've got the whole crossposting thing down to checking a ticky box on the posts you make over there.
