I entered Ivory Gate in RPGamer.com's June fanfiction contest, and it turns out that I'm up against (among other things) mikkeneko's inventive demi-classic In Living Memory (also ketita's Fate Accompli -- an interesting what-if, but not half as well-written as her Messenger). Right out of the bush leagues and into the majors! I hope I can hang around for more than the proverbial cup of coffee ...
